Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Technician - Entry Level

Position Summary

Experience not required, we will teach you everything you need to know! We will help you become a Universal Certified Technician.Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance inspections for our customer's HVAC and refrigeration equipment. Primary Job Responsibilities:Review work orders and/or preventative maintenance contracts in detailPerform duties per work order and/or contract. These include, but are not limited to:Cleaning coilsReplacing filtersMinor HVAC and refrigeration repairs with guidance of Service Technician or Area Service ManagerAssisting Service Technicians with larger service callsClear and consistent communication with customer and your CSR/Dispatcher keeping both up to date on progress  

Duties and Responsibilities

-Assist crew with refrigerant maintenance
-Work off-site recovering refrigerant gas
-Travel in company truck making deliveries Requirements:
-High school graduate or equivalent • Valid Driver's License and transportation to and from work
-Great communication skills
-Willingness to work extended hours in peak seasonsRequirments 
-Ability to lift 50 to 100 lbs and stand for long periods of time

Requirements

-Valid NC driver’s license 
-No DUI, DUID, DWAI convictions in the past 48 months 
-EPA approved Universal Certification (Company is a proctor for exam) 
-Can successfully pass criminal background check and drug screening
